Giving is part of discipleship – “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”- 2 Corinthians 9:7.

Succasunna United Methodist Church offers an electronic option for making regular offerings. Contributions can be debited automatically from your checking or savings account. This electronic giving program offers convenience for you. When travel or other circumstances prevent you from attending worship, this program will allow your financial gifts to continue uninterrupted.

Please take note that when you enroll in the program, you will be asked to provide your banking information.   Vanco, our eGiving processor, will use this information to initiate your online giving to the account designated.  Be assured that Succasunna UMC will not have access to your confidential information.  The online giving transactions will be entirely under your control.  You will have control over the amounts, timing, and frequency of your payments.  Payments may be authorized to be scheduled weekly, monthly, or on a one-time basis.  All per transaction fees associated with the program are paid by Succasunna UMC.  You may choose give to the “General Fund”, the “Building Fund” or “Other” for a special ministry. Please see below for more information on each of these categories:

General Fund: This is the basic building block of the mission and ministry of our church. The General Fund supports such areas as the pastor and staff, Christian education, worship and mission and other committee programming, utility bills, snow plow, and much more.

Building Fund: This fund supports the ministry of the trustees in order to maintain and beautify the physical building and grounds as well as the parsonage.   

Other: This fund supports other functions of our church ministry (e.g., Flower dedication, Brotherhood Fund, Special Mission Projects, Memorial Giving, Including Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Offering, etc.)  Please leave a note as to what mission you are supporting.

ShopRite and Sussex Market Gift Cards

Gift cards are sold by Bruce Hopper in Fellowship Hall between services. For each ShopRite gift card purchased the church receives a 5%
donation.
Also available are Sussex Market (formerly known as Sussex Meatpacking) food cards. SUMC receives a 10% donation.
