Serve
Serving others is at the heart of our Christian faith, following the example of Jesus who said, ‘For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve’ (Mark 10:45). At Succasunna UMC, we are passionate about embodying this teaching of Jesus by actively serving those in need and making a positive impact in our community and world. We believe that serving others is an essential part of our discipleship journey and an expression of our love for God and our neighbors. Through various service opportunities and ministries, we invite our members to join us in living out the servant-hearted mission of Jesus. Visit the “drop down” under Serve to explore how you can participate in acts of service and be a blessing to others.
Christian Outreach Project (COP)
COP is a ministry of the Greater New Jersey Annual Conference of the UMC. Every year, our youth and adult leaders spend a week fixing homes in Warren and Sussex Counties. During the days they are out on work sites, and in the evenings they gather to worship and talk about their experiences. We have been participants in this ministry for more than twenty years.
